Up for a challenging walk in the woods in the nation's capital? Join the $3 charity hikers for an 8 mile hike ? the hike is a loop, mostly on the western ridge and valley trails. Some hills, some rocky trails, stream crossings. Not recommended for beginning walkers.

Length: 8 miles
Hiking Time: approx. 4 hours
Difficulty: Moderate
Facilities: Restrooms at start and somewhere along the trail
Dogs Allowed: Yes, if on a leash
