I've been looking for something like this since I moved to Forest Park three years ago. So far this year I've met some great people and we've enjoyed walking together.
What are the most common reasons that stop you from taking a walk?

Thunderstorms and temps below 10 degrees.

When would you like to walk?

Evening during the week and mornings on weekends.

How fast do you walk? How far do you walk?

18-20 minute miles on flat terrain. 3-5 miles.

Where would you like the group to have a walk?

The sidewalks of Forest Park, Oak Park and River Forest and local forest preserves. Pilsen, Chinatown, Wicker Park, Waterfall Glen F.P., Shabbona Lake State Park, Chicago lakefront, Volo Bog, Midewin Prairie, and Blackwell Forest Preserve.

How often do you walk?

4-5 times a week.

  •  Hi, John: Sorry I forgot to upload the group photo next to the Mill for you. It is uploaded now. Yours came out nice. I walked back from the parking lot to the Mill. Half way, I caught that blue heron scene.
