Meeting Description
Who
- Nice people who can both make conversation and also just sit quietly reading a good book.
Why
- The St. Claire is historical and fascinating. The lobby bar is classically elegant, with leather ceilings and leather couches. And we'll be just across the street from the god of Bad Statuary.

Details
We might do some walking, as downtown San Jose is always lovely at night. Or we may just relax in the lounge for hours. If you feel like it, bring books or fliers with suggestions for summer events; perhaps we can pick which of the Digital Arts Festival events would be best for us. Or just a book to relax with, sip and read in the presence of other readers. Not meant to be a rowdy drinking time -- just a relaxing one.
It might be appropriate to dress a little on the nicer side to occupy the hotel lobby for a couple of hours.
I'll bring a box of pictures from Texas and ya'll can all hear about the trip....
