About Mary King's Ghost Fest
The award winning Mary King's Ghost Fest returns to Edinburgh from 9th - 18th May 2008. Now entering its fourth year, the festival is bigger and better than ever before with a program of events to keep the most avid of ghost hunters and the most serious of sceptics entertained for hours. Who dares join us on the other side as we, again, delve deep into Edinburgh's dark and mysterious past?

This year's festival offers a wide range of exciting events which allow people the opportunity to explore and examine under supervision the truly haunted nature of this extraordinary city.

Highlights include an unique opportunity to explore Edinburgh's underground with Most Haunted?s Richard Felix, insights into the world of a witch, overnight vigils in the ever-popular Blair Street Vaults and Scottish Mining Museum (a festival first), a four night series of Electronic Voice Phenomenon workshops in some of Edinburgh?s most haunted locations (including the Edinburgh Playhouse--another festival first!) and the chance find out the truth about witches and witchcraft.

Only a few select events for this year's ghost fest will be posted on Meetup. Why not see if something else takes your fancy, and if so, book directly with the vendor: http://www.marykingsg...

"Was a bit expensive for just a 1 hour video (albeit quite an interesting video). But the natter/drinks in the bar afterwards was well worth it! Nice small group so a real good laugh although you'll now know not to play a pub quiz with me anymore :) "

  • Lisa
"Agree with majority, interesting documentary but expensive for 1hr and not the 2hr slot that Mary King's Ghost Fest quoted! Good to meet a few new people in the bar afterwards though!"

  • Moira Sigut
"Not quite what we expected but was nice to meet up for a drink. Found out we were crap at pub quizzes!"
