The second walk in the month is for the more adventurous members of the group - so its further away and a longer walk than the first monthly meetup.
We are meeting at the Grantley Arms pub, Grantley - HG4 3PJ
This walk is a 14mile circular route, and will be taken by Rob. It takes in stretches of the Ripon Rowel, then Kirk Bank on the way to Carlesmoor Beck. The return stretch includes a high track (269M) with spectacular views.
I would expect 14miles to take 6-7 hours so we should be back before 5pm.

“ This was my first meetup walk and I was very impressed, despite the soggy weather! There were 7 of us in total, a really nice bunch of people. The pace was maybe a little fast for me, but I was amazed that I managed to keep up AND finish in one piece. Although, I have to say, I do ache a bit today! ” -
