“ I'll be the one with a red rucksac and probably turning up last! ;) ”
A fantastic high leve walk along the back of Buachille Etive Mor, the Big Shepard of Etive (we'll do the little shepard later in the year hopefully), the guardian of Glencoe. If you've ever driven up to Fort William, you'll have seen Buachille Etive Mor looking out over Rannoch Moor (and it's probably Scotland's most photographed mountain!)

The ascent will be by the "tourist" path through Coire na Tulaich, which avoids all the really nasty stuff on its main face. There's a wee bit of scrambling involved, but not much. You can see the path as it winds up to the col just on the right of this shot:

From the first summit, you just follow the ridge right along to the other end!

You need to double back to Stob Coire Altruim before you then drop down to Lairig Gartain and a nice gentle walk back to the start.
Last time I climbed this, it took around 9 hours including stops.
