Who's organizing?

How does seven Munros in a single day strike you? Well, on the South Glen Shiel Ridge it's entirely possible.

The plan is to make a weekend of it, driving up on Friday night after work, do the ridge on Saturday, head south on Sunday and climb something easy around Glencoe or Bridge of Orchy (we can decide on the day, depending on how sore people are from the Saturday!), and then drive back down to Glasgow on Sunday night.

This is the route we'll be taking:

In terms of accommodation, Kintail Lodge Hotel have two bunk houses and can sleep up to 12 people (costing about £10-£15 per person per night, depending on number - breakfast is extra or you can bring your own).

I've now booked both bunkhouses in their entirety and all the beds are full. If you'd like to come, please get in touch with regards to accommodation or being put on a waiting list if anyone drops out.

Travel will cost about £35 for passengers.

I'll start working out more details once I know that there are a few people interested.

Cheers,
Ewan

The South Glen Shiel Ridge is more than twice as long but with considerably less scrambling - I'd expect it to take two or three hours more than the Aonach Eagach. walkhighlands.co.uk has both routes on it along with maps of them so you can compare the two there.

I've done Aonach Eagach last Sunday, please tell me that The South Glen Shiel Ridge is easier!
