East Bay 'Cemetery' Walks May Meeting

Our next walk will be adjacent to our July walk at St. Mary Cemetery, 4529 Howe Street in Oakland, starting at 10:10 am, then stopping at the Cemetery Chapel and up to the top with great views of the Bay Area and beyond. Parking is on Howe Street, before entry to the front gate (end of street, off of Pleasant Hill Road in Oakland).

OVERVIEW OF OUR GROUP: meet other east bay folks and history buffs who are interested in walking, sightseeing and sitting in the quiet (for at least 10 minutes) @ local east and bay area cemeteries, usually sunday mornings from 10:00 am to 12 noon, followed by brown bag lunches or going to local restaurants (car pools and getting to new locations will be added to our overall time spent for the day).

Next scheduled dates include 9/30 10/28 and then every other month during the winter (weather permitting)
