Welcome to The London Walking Group. This group will aim to have at least one walk every month in the metropolis of London and its surrounding areas. The length will vary between 9-12 miles in length.
Please note the change of walk details.
We are meeting up at Paddington Station at the main ticket hall at 09.20 for the 10.03 train from Paddington to Reading where we will do an 11 mile walk from Reading to Goring and Streatley along the Thames towpath. I shall have my sign saying London Meet Up.com on display. Please bring your waterproofs and wear stout footwear or better still walking boots as the countryside does get muddy. If you find that when you book your place the event is full then contact the leader by email or text by mobile phone by the day before as there are always places available.
Please bring cash for pub lunch and if you have a Network Card you will be very popular as up to 4 adults can get a third off an ordinary train fare.
