The Southwest Suburbs Walking and Social group is for anyone interested in meeting and connecting witih others who are interested in walking and socializing.

Walks - our walks are not a slow walking or a speed breaking group. We will be walking in a moderate paced speed - we will be moving, but we will also be able to enjoy the view! Hiking will also be included.

Socials - will include Dinning Out, Flea Markets, Outdoor Concerts, Zoos, etc. As a Personal Chef, future events will center around cooking.

We have no membership dues.

So why not join us and see what the SW Suburbs have to offer.

Why not be a part of this meetup? We would be happy for members to join and help us organize different events.

Hi Cathy, I'd like to join your meetup group because I'm interested in starting to exercise regularly and meeting new people. It's great that you are choosing local places to walk since that will mean that I can attend more often.

Well, recently moved to Orland Park and know fresh air and walking increases my energy level throughout the day. 2-3 miles sounds do-able, some of the longer walks I might need to work up to. I'd like to give it a try. Carol
