Inspired by 'Jane's Walks' and wanting to offer similar guided neighbourhood walks while paying homage to Val Werier, local Winnipeg author and urban activist. Werier's Walks are inspired by the spirit of Jane Jacobs and share the same intent: to shine a light on what makes a neighbourhood great, to provide a free guided tour through walkable neighbourhoods, and to provide an opportunity to meet and share ideas about what makes a liveable, vibrant community.

This group is dedicated to Women over 40 who have finally decided they can indeed be Fit and Fierce over 40. With a combination of activities, including HIIT, chi walking and nordic pole walking, we are focused on real life solutions for real women and celebrating each other's success along the way.
