WELCOME TO THE GROUP! There are numerous groups in Geneva, with the purpose of gathering people together that are passionate about the outdoors and mountaineering, but they only aim at adults. Here is an outdoors adventure group that will cater to both adults and children at the same time. Not only would the kids have other playma …

This is a group for anyone who knows (or wants to know) the Zurich district of Oerlikon. Ideally you live/work in Zurich/ Oerlikon so we can meet up and check out the area and organize events depending on weather conditions. I started this group because quite a lot of people are working/living in Oerlikon who do not know each other but stay/live near by. This group is for everyone, especially expats who wish to share their "specific" Oerlikon experiences with other "Oerlikonien".

We can be active or lazy. It doesn't matter. As long as our kids have playmates and fun! Meetups every second weekend. All ideas welcome! Open to all families and single parents with kids aged up to 10 (and older siblings if they don't mind being the eldest). All nationalities!

In this group, we study the the Buddha's teachings, as preserved by the Theravada (which may be the most authentic version of it). We do practice (mindfulness and concentration) meditation but also study the teachings and figure out how to apply them to our daily lives. According to the Theravada Buddhist teachings to lay people, a harmonious lifestyle is the preconditions for progress meditation. Our sessions take place once a month, and are conducted by Venerable Bhante Anuruddha from Sri Lank …
