Hello, I live in West LA and I have been walking at Cheviott Hills park. Once around is 2.3 miles, twice around is a good work out. I started this group to walk on the weekends in the morning. Our goal is to help people get motivated to work out and be outside. Going to the gym by yourself can really get boring. This is a great way to meet new people and really get motivated to get moving! The walking will be slower (but not too slow) to give you a chance to talk with those around you. All walkers are welcome!
I like the idea of going for a good walk after work, especially this time of year when it's light out until nearly 8pm. Sometimes it's hard to motivate myself to go from commute to couch to path.
