This meetup is for people in the Silver Spring, MD area who enjoy being outdoors and want to participate in a variety of activities. Focus is on outdoor activities of short duration (1-5 hours) and within an hour trip (car or metro) from Silver Spring. Examples would be biking in Rock Creek, a walk around the arboretum, a paddle (kayak) on the Potomac or a potluck picnic in a park.

Meet usually once or twice per week to walk/hike Rock Creek Park in DC. Beginner to Intermediate pace, mostly flat gentle trails but mix in intermediate hiking. Mostly 45 minutes to an hour.
